How R-Gas Heating handles website enquiries, calls and cookies.
Who we are
R-GAS HEATING LTD (company number 15358021) is responsible for personal information you send us. Registered office: Flat 7, 76a Albert Road, Southsea, England, PO5 2SN. For privacy questions or requests, email info@rgasheating.co.uk.
Information you give us
When you use our enquiry form, call or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, postcode and a description of the problem. Our website form sends these details to our business email account. Please do not include payment card details or other people’s personal information in an enquiry.
The form also records how you reached our website, for example the advert, search engine, leaflet code or page you came from. We use this to understand which of our advertising works.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, give you a price, and arrange and carry out work if you go ahead (steps before entering into a contract, and performing the contract). After a job, we may contact you once to ask for feedback or a review, and to remind you about servicing. You can tell us at any time that you do not want these messages (legitimate interests). We do not sell your details.
Who may receive it
Authorised R-Gas staff, and service providers who help us run the business, may access relevant details. Our website and email are hosted by IONOS. If you accept cookies, Google receives information about your visit (see below). We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries that do not lead to work after 12 months. Where work is carried out, we keep the related records for six years after completion, or longer if the law or a dispute requires it. Gas safety records are kept for the periods the regulations require.
Cookies and analytics
If you click Accept, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies, managed through Google Tag Manager. They tell us which pages, searches and adverts lead to enquiries. If you click Reject, these cookies are not set. Google may still receive limited, cookieless signals to measure advert performance in aggregate. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
We store your cookie choice and the way you reached the site (for example an advert or leaflet code) in your browser’s local storage, so it can be included with any enquiry you send.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your information, or ask us to restrict or stop using it. Email info@rgasheating.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This website is not an emergency service. If you smell gas or suspect carbon monoxide, call 0800 111 999.
