We repair a lot of boilers, so we would rather fix yours if that makes sense. Replacement is usually worth considering when parts for an older boiler are expensive or no longer made, when the same fault keeps coming back, or when a major part such as the heat exchanger fails on an older boiler. We will show you the numbers and let you decide.
How a replacement works
- Survey. We look at your current boiler, the flue route, the gas supply, your hot water use and the heating system.
- Fixed quote. You get a written quote covering the boiler, controls, any system cleaning and the fitting work.
- Installation. Our engineers fit and commission the boiler, explain how to use it and register the warranty.
- Building regulations. We notify the installation through Gas Safe as the law requires, and you receive the certificate.
Combi, system or regular?
Combi boilers suit most flats and smaller homes. Homes with two bathrooms or more, or high hot water use, may be better with a system boiler and a cylinder. We recommend what suits your home, not what is easiest to fit.
